Project that I worked on and is pretty cool!

Woodland Trinity Knot in Co. Sligo, Ireland.

Inspired by ancient Irish designs, Jim McCabe and his family planted this sylvan Trinity Knot in the 1980s. It is located on the slopes of Tomór in Glencar valley, Co. Sligo and can be seen from the nearby N16 Sligo to Manorhamilton road. The design is best viewed in the autumn when the Japanese Larch trees change colour and contrast with the surrounding Sitka Spruce forest. A privately funded and planted project,
the Trinity Knot is there for the enjoyment of all!

Pretty inspiring stuff eh?

Had I known then what I see now and the multitude of online thankyou's from all over the world, it makes me happy and proud to have been part of its' construction back in the eighties.

Planted in the mid 80's by the McCabe Family. They planted the whole hill known as 'Tormór' and planted the design in the centre (celtic trinity knot) with Japanese Larch on Sitka Spruce. This design and surrounding forest property is in Co. Sligo. It was privately funded for the enjoyment of all and the celtic design appears best in autumn when the japanese larch change colour.

About

I started my career in Animation, working for international companies both in Ireland and Germany.
I worked on award winning TV shows such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, James Bond Junior, Benjamen Blümchen and film productions such as Asterix: Coming to Amerika and Castle of the Monkeys.

Returning to Ireland in 1998 I continued working in graphics and built up my experience, eventually setting up allmedia.designs to provide expert graphical and
DTP services to the print, publishing, translation, localisation and media industries.
